My photos are stacking up..I have 50 total that need to be scanned. And I have a roll that needs to be dropped off. Trying to hit CVS for a cheaper deal than where I have been sending them to. But of the 74, I will choose a few nature shots, a few persons and a few waterfalls and buildings. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get to PUSHING POETRY, for this photography has worked me today! But I can't help myself, a hobby is a hobby! But bread and butter is bread and butter!!!

trying to fnd the pics of Beyonce and Lauren Hill....oh i wish i can. I will just have to go back to the website of www.takegreatpictures.com and take my pen and write down the number for i know I did save it. Lauren Hill, Destiny's Child and a few others. I shall return for I am not satisfied until I do that. That is beginning photographer for you...perfection that does not exist, right?

now to get to nature..pics from Callie as my brother would call it..CALIFORNIA......That is my brother O at his car in his parking spot near his tags. showoff! leave me here in da ghetto!! nice California greenery, we don't have it here like that...that is beautiful! check out that beautiful color on that tree! look at that tree with the roundness, that is a sweet talkin tree right there! now we are getting close to his home...and after seeing these pics, you all know I wanna go there and he is trying to get me there but the peach has to take care of bizz ness in ATL!!!!! See the pic with the stairs, my brother lives there and man o man i feel like flying out tonight for a weekend excursion! But I would have to be a temporary airline hostess! To pay my way there and back..you know that's right!

My brother and his son (my nephew) they talk daily and I know he misses his dad for he always had him here and he still does 3,500 miles away. My nephew came out to visit for a week. He is 23 years old and has his own apartment now. He believes in working a full-time job, not in selling drugs or being in a gang. I am proud of him, too.

My brother says he has some more to send me. I can't believe it for there are more pics that I did not share with you. The next blog, I will have my own pics from my own 35 mm to share with you..yes they came out nice and no one broke the camera like they always say to me.
Some people are extremely camera shy.

Mom and Dad in the first pic. Mom has a beautiful pearl necklace on and my dad a nice haircut, process style. This had to be in the early to mid 50's for my brother and I were not born then. I wish my mom would be like that again for she appears to have been a beautiful woman on the inside as well. My dad, we won't go there!

My brother at seven or eight years of age.

I am the girl next to my mom with the white hat with green ribbon. My brother has his eyes closed completely. We were living in the Stella Wright Homes, 9th floor in Newark, NJ. That is where my mom gets the term "the projects." For that is what they claimed we lived in.

In the black and white photo, I am the girl in the middle. This is Easter Sunday, 1969, I believe.
Mom and Dad standing by that car courting and they are also in the color photo again. My brother decided to put us around them in pics. I am on the left hand side with the green shirt on and big earrings..8th grade. My brothers and sisters around me.

My uncle James Brown memorial talk. He was a great librarian and community activist from Newark.

My nieces and nephews, my brother and sister-in-law.

My aunts(9) and uncles(5), including my dad. My dad is on the right on the end. He is the oldest one of the brothers. Grandma had 15 and still made room for us.

My grandparents who taught me by morals and example. I am living righteously today because of them. I try so hard not to ge upset or display negativity, for they were poor materially but rich spiritually.
